When did you start work: October, 2015
Background: Headquartered at Gurgaon, SeniorWorld is India ‘s first organization established to cater to the overall needs of seniors. After launching a senior-friendly phone - Easyfone, Seniorworld.com has now launched Holiday packages especially designed for seniors.
Goal: Key objective of the campaign was to highlight- ‘how SeniorWorld is using technology to strengthen the senior community in Indian Society’.
Various PR Tools/ methodologies were under taken for this campaign: -
- Innovative angles were explored to highlight the benefits to consumers by using Easyfone and highlighting the ease, affordability and convenience aspects of the product.
- Survey: Initiated a survey which showed that majority of senior citizens are becoming heavy e-commerce users.
Founder journeys: A key ask of the campaign was to highlight the inception of the platform and what makes it unique as compared to other players’. The team initiated stories around all the two founders’ different backgrounds in technology, marketing and telecommunication sector that led to the development of the platform.
- Technology Industry stories: Team explored participation in Industry stories on the startup, e-commerce, and technology sector; sharing inputs from the founders on government initiatives like ‘Startup India’ to FDI in e-commerce.
- Successfully placed stories in a range of mainstream media including ‘Economic Times’, CNN-IBN, NDTV and yourstory.com; the coverage included founder and product coverage. These include:
